According to data published by <strong>\u010dasnik Delo<\/strong>, based on an analysis by <em>Finance Manager<\/em> magazine, there are approximately <strong>200 individuals in Slovenia with more than 20 million euros of estimated assets<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the threshold that separates the wealthiest 1% of the population from the rest.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"20-million-euros-a-ticket-to-the-200-club\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">20 million euros \u2013 a ticket to the 200 club<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to estimates by the editors of <em>Finance Manager<\/em>, as summarized by Delo, <strong>20 million euros of net worth<\/strong> is the lower limit at which an individual is already ranked among the <strong>200 richest Slovenians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For comparison:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the average net salary in Slovenia is approximately 1,500 euros,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 million euros is more than <strong>1,100 years of average net salaries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 id=\"the-limits-are-rising-rapidly\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The limits are rising rapidly<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While 20 million is enough to enter the top 200, the threshold for the top spots is rising rapidly:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>100th place:<\/strong> approximately <strong>43 million euros<\/strong>, which is eight million more than the year before<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Top 50:<\/strong> mostly more than <strong>100 million euros<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Top of the list:<\/strong> over <strong>300 million euros<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Delo, the total wealth of the hundred richest Slovenians has reached almost <strong>10 billion euros<\/strong>, which is the highest ever.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"where-does-the-money-come-from\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where does the money come from?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data shows that most of the wealth does not come from salaries, but from:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ownership of successful companies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>export orientation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>above-average profit margins,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>long-term growth in the value of companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An example is the co-founder of Dewesoft, <strong>Jure Knez<\/strong>, who, according to <em>Finance Manager<\/em>, ranked among the top five richest for the first time with approximately <strong>360 million euros in assets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"athletes-a-rare-exception\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Athletes \u2013 a rare exception<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Athletes are also among the 200 richest Slovenians. The highest ranked is <strong>Luka Don\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, who, according to data published in Delo, reached 22nd place with an estimated <strong>105 million euros<\/strong>, setting a new milestone for Slovenian sports.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For athletes, the estimates are generally conservative and are based primarily on net earnings from contracts, without taking into account any returns from investments.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"millions-are-not-in-the-account\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Millions are not in the account<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to emphasize that most of the wealth of the richest is not in cash.
